Mumford and Sons are shit and not worth a headline spot there shite live too, and rihanna don't want to even go there. So can't believe the sat is sold out if any day was to be sold out it would have to be the Sunday! If Geoff stop wasting money on flyers and try and get a decent headliner instead.

I didn't try for tickets last year (5 years in a row was enough for me) so I've no idea how quickly they went last year or this. The reason I didn't try for tickets this year is because literally no one I knew wants to go. The times I did try there was always a mad rush at all selling times, whereas we're now weeks from the event and there's still plenty available.

The line-up has been as complained about in years gone by but folk still went. Perhaps those in charge will take the hint.

You should know that I'm hetero sexual and taken. Following me around won't get you in my favours. Enjoy Lucy Spraggan, I'm sure she's crayoned on your pencil case. If you fancy trying some proper stuff try Hactivist. I'd say fidlar and Deap Vally too but I think you'd be too scared. Enjoy your T son, you can ignore me now, any further stalking will be deemed extremely unhealthy.

That's a very good argument you present there. Did you spend all of the last few days thinking of it? If I may interject with a couple of questions. Who else does grime? I've never heard of it before. I wouldn't know grime if it walked up to me in a pink suit and tickled me on the bollocks. How much of a genre has to be included into another genre before it gets its own name? Does your theory apply to all these "musicians" sampling stuff? I mean if a rock riff is sampled into a rap song does that mean I have to love it or hate it? I'm so confused, I never knew about all these rules.

Fair play if you think that you are getting value for money at T this year, have fun. If you have a tenth of the time I had at Download then you'll have a brilliant time. One fest down, 4 to go.

Just thought i'd let you know i saw Hacktivist in April supporting Enter Shikari and they were shite. They can't possibly be playing good music in your eyes because surprisingly it's metal mixed with grime? Grime is a genre that is widely in the charts and as i believe pretty much prominent at T for the past 2 years now. Also i'm starting to believe like a few other people on here that you can't post anything different about T in the Park. Yes it is pretty crap this year but the most of it is actually not bad when you get into it, looking at it there's a good few bands that i would watch then when you go from that you start to listen to new bands to go see them if you like it. But because "It's not the T i once knew, where's my RAWK" then you can't like it.

Im sorry to intrude but isnt a mainstream festival there to sell tickets? Dont they have to get bands to sell those tickets?

Whatever side of the fence your on band wise, titp/reading/leeds/v dont seem to be doing there job at the minute.

Or the ticket buyers are not interested in whats being fed to them.

I remember when the Foo Fighters played after a couple of songs I said "THey're pish, never heard of them". Yes I was pished. When Blur played I had the greatest time ever. How do I know? I saw the pictures on facebook. IF you remember a festival you havent enjoyed it, the bands are just a fekin distractiion :-)

The problem with Rock is like someone stated on here a couple of weeks back is there is hardly a decent rock band about right now that is notable who haven't come from a time gone by. I really like Rock, Metal and other types similar but i don't really go to festivals to see them because i would happily pay to see them normally i like festivals because i can see bands that i like for example Frightened Rabbit but also go along and catch some other bands that i wouldn't normally see. That's what i plan to do at Glastonbury this year.

People jumped in pretty much at will.

I remember one year I was waiting to go in and a bunch of teenagers came up to me asking if I could come in with you(under 14s got in free). They were no way under 14, more like 18.

I said you can try but didn't think they would get away with it, but they did with no trouble at all.

Couple of friends every year would just give a security guard 10 quid and they got in like that. This is without all the thousands jumping the fence to get in and party.

I do think Glastonbury is missing a lot from the fence going up, people that don't have the money, travellers etc etc. although I understand the festival wouldn't go ahead if it went like that.
