Hi is anybody else going to TITP alone? Me and my friend planned on going together but she has now let me down last minute but I still really want to go! Don't really fancy spending the whole weekend there by myself though would be nice to find others to meet up with.

Has anyone camped in citizen T before?? If so, what's it like. I've signed up this year and am wondering if its worth trying

Citizen T is really good if you want to be quite civilised. You won't get the wild parties and debauchery that you get in the rest of the campsite but it's cleaner, safer and quieter. Probably best if you are with pals from a social point of view but safer if you aren't. The downside going there as a loner is that if you do meet people you get on with and they aren't in Citizen T they won't be able to come back to yours.

Long shot - but is anyone still trying to arrange transport from Aberdeen?

I have three tickets for the happy bus but only need two - will sell the spare one on for £20.00 if anyone is interested?

Last year's Friday Slam Tent only had two acts if I remember correctly - Slam and Sven Vath. Does anyone know if it's likely that Phoenix will clash with Jackmaster & Joy O?

I'm hoping that Green Velvet gets a mammoth set ie 3 hours meaning I can see Jackmaster & Joy O then jump to Tut's for Phoenix > Kraftwerk.

Arctic Monkeys announced tour for November including The Hydro, usually the same time a headline name gets mentioned, might be too soon for them again though.

If Kasabian can be repeated after two years, they'll have no qualms about repeating Arctic Monkeys after three years.

it feels terrible saying it but i certainly agree now with geoffs point saying there are only around 12 potential headliners now for T (unless theres a big reunion a la stone roses)

this means that theres a maz 4 years between headlining

thats if they repeated the same set of headliners which means that headliners are gonna be repeated around the 3 year mark.

i'd be happy with arctic monkeys and them along with biffy and another credible act i'd maybe be persuaded to go back to T after this years blip

i'm calling oasis as the big headliner next year though

If you limit your market by declaring the best live acts around like Bruce Springsteen to be not part of your demographic, then you will be limited to a very small list of potential headliners.

There are far more than 12 potential headliners if you expand your search criteria to actually book rock acts again.
