#asktitp was a bollox waste of time, I know they never retweeted my question so I take it you guys were the same.

To all those eulogising Glastonbury, my first was 19 years ago. It blows nothing out the water, my first T was far better. Strummervile last year was much more memorable.

As I said to gazza, I am old hahahaha

The energy at T is very very special....

Hi guys looking for a bit of info, I am buying a thursday-Sun camping ticket and i was going to be buying a Thursday upgrade for my mate who has a Fri-sun camping ticket. Will the Thursay upgrade have my name on it and if so will it matter that it doesnt match the name on his ticket?

I enjoyed Glastonbury, been four times. I am just trying to say it isn't this spiritual nirvana some are trying to say it is.....

The thing that I love about Glastonbury is they are not afraid to try something new, first time I saw the brian wilson was there... Neil diamond was excellent a few years ago.

Strummervile last year was amazing.....

I have a sneaky suspicion that you might not enjoy T. It's not for those that like atmosphere and spiritualism, it's a piss up from start to finish with loud raucous banter. Some find it intimidating particularly if you are sober and on your own. Don't get me wrong it's not threatening or anything but if you can imagine walking into a bar full of pissed people whilst absolutely sober it's like that. Join in or you won't enjoy. Nae probs for me like, I loves teh bevvy and that :) When a band gets them on side the energy created at T is like no other place. Bizarrely though, if a band is shite, they don't get on their case, they just become background to the party.

the last couple of times I saw them they played the hits early and then a load of transients fucked off and the place was half empty. Quite insulting I thought. I would imagine they'll play it last or thereabouts this time though. 15 mins will get you to the edge of main if it's dry but not to anywhere where the sound is decent. It will most likely be busy.

Just out of interest what did everyone ask on #asktitp. My questions (one got answered but not to me directly) were along the lines of:

Will you be approaching Bowie to play in the future and how did he poll recently?

Do you think all the extra money spent on promotion this year would have been better spent on the lineup? T's lineup used to promote itself.

Why were people handing out flyers at Bruce Springsteen if he's considered not in the T demographic and is it time to widen the demographic?

And I asked about lack of acts on the mainstage on the Sunday. Which they answered someone else about.

I asked why the emphasis seems to be going away from the rockier bands. I don't really care about the pop bands, I can ignore then and understand they do attract a certain percentage of the crowd. I think more bands like The Black Keys should be booked, most of the guitar music is a little too soft.

I also asked why timing wasn't publisised in advance, no answer of course.
