T in the Park 2013

I don't really get what folks issues were with last year - obviously there's acts like Nicki Minaj. But overall I would say last year has a much stronger lineup than this year. The Saturday was really strong (this was the only day I went) but at least last year had I went for the whole weekend I would have had a couple if clashes and a headliner each night - this year I only have one headliner (Kraftwerk) and no clashes at all.

Fair doos it's not as good as previous years either but this year has really pissed me off. Acts getting promotions up the lineup with very little output and David Guetta and Calvin Harris taking up two headline slots for the second year running. When I'm willing to bet they will both play very similar sets.

so going by clash finder, we now have kodaline and villagers clashing.

and JM clashing with Chvrches now - that's the 2nd big clash I had now.

was going to catch daughter but half tempted to give lumineers another go. I started watching them at glasto but it didn't feel the same so went to see miles kane who i really couldn't get in to so ended up with a bit of a nothing slot.

It looks like I can see Palma Violets, Peace and Villagers now! It looked like they were all clashing before.

Can anyone help with British Sea Power v Twin Atlantic? Never seen either of them, I probably like Britsh Sea Powers songs more but was thinking the atmosphere for Twin Atlantic would be good.

T number 7 here (missed last year...thankfully). Looking forward to it, I must admit.

I was wondering a couple of things about Refresh though, as we got tickets for the first time as a gift.

Are there lockers in there for while you use the showers, and should we take swimsuits?

Also, my days

Fri

Imagine Dragons

???

Texas

Of Monsters And Men

Chase And Status

Mumford and Sons

Sat

???

Fratellis, probably

Deacon Blue

The View/Villagers

Lumineers

Miles Kane

Travis

The Velveteen Saints

MBV

Sun

Earth, Wind and Fire

Deap Vally

Bastille

Frank Turner

Azealia Banks/TDCC (Depending if I can persuade my girlfriend away from AB)

Editors/Johnny Marr (Argh)

Stereophonics

Killers.

Sorry, can't help with refresh but i can recommend Everythign Everything for your Friday ?? slot. You might have time to get into them, I love them now, especially Cough Cough, Kemosabe, Duet, Radiant, Photpshop Handsome. They are a bit different, I love them.

I was about to recommend Fidlar for your friday ??? but it looks as it I'm too let on the recommendations front! Although if you do decide on them it'll be totally worth it, one of the best new bands around at the moment and they sound like cage the elephant :)

Seen Twin Atlantic about 8 times, they always put on a cracking show. That said, they were a bit lost on the main stage last year. That's why I reckon in tuts they'll be brilliant. The atmosphere will be more tight and condensed.

I've seen Editors four times and only seen Johnny Marr playing with The Cribs three times. As a huge Smiths fan I'd love to see Johnny live doing Smiths songs but as an even bigger Morrissey fan I'd be worried that I was disappointed by the vocals. Editors on the other hand are bound to be great if my other viewings are anything to go by.
