It will be interesting to see if The Killers self confirm for T tonight, probably not but theres always a chance especially if they are the band that is to be announced before the December sale

i don't think the killers will be there ... i think the december band always has to be the biggest name too to shift a lot of tickets.

I'm thinking about to oxygen or T in the Park (these may be the only festivals I will be going to next year) can someone give me good reasons to go to oxygen (if it is even going to happen next year) or t in park as I live in N.Ireland and just wondering if it is worth the money to go to t in the park instead of oxygen and does anyone know the price for a weekend ticket at T

Another e mail from the T lady about the December tickets and its on the 9th presage the 7th earlier than usual if I'm correct and this proberly means the December band will be the November band now

Can't remember if they normally freeze the price for the December sale or not. Would be fine to get a few bands announced because a lot of folks seem to be holding off on buying until they see what they are spending £200 quid on.

Eldest200 - It's not the worst of festivals but line up can be a tad samey every year. If I stayed in NI and had money to spend on travelling to a festival I certainly wouldn't pick T. Look at budget flights to some of the european festivals and the all in cost won't be much different to T, plus you've more chance of decent weather.

I've always had a great time at T, bear in mind I live in Scotland so its not that hard to get to but I reckon since its the closest of that festival type to you, you should give it a try especially if Oxegen isnt happening

Was at the muse gig the other night. Atthe end Im sure Dom said "see you next year". Whether that mean a festival appearance or a stadium show I dont know.
