u need to play at king tuts to get a spot in the king tuts tent at t! Oh well lucky u! Anywhere I went thought it was full of neds! And on 1 occasion two guys next to me starting popping pills then asked me if he could take a drink of my pint. Never I have witnessed that before! The only good points of this weekend was 1) the weather

2) Deacon Blue

And 3) the killers

Not worth 200 quid a ticket IMO! I won't be back at T that was my last! And I have been going since 1998!

Like others have said, I sleep with my wallet/mobile/camera etc in a zipped pocket on an item of clothing that I wear whilst sleeping. I've been in some serious drunken states over the years but I'd still like to think I'd be able to hear someone unzipping my tent, feel them climbing over me, unzipping my pocket and then rummage my pocket to find said items.

But like someone else said, if people are that worried about theft then there is the option of lockers. I know you shouldn't need to, but sadly because its a festival doesn't mean there won't be robberies. There's scum everywhere in life.

Some friends of mine that we were camping with had a purse stolen with £200 plus cards in it, there seems to have been alot of thefts this year.

Harryomatic mentioned a few pages back about some tosser throwing a lit flare at Calvin Harris. It landed a few rows in front of me, was so pissed off it ruined my night. Harris clearly saw it, he should have stopped playing and mentioned it! All this happened just a few hours after someone through a glass bottle across tuts

Another good tip is to split your money over a couple of places in the tent, also buy a cheapo 2nd hand £10 phone on ebay and leave it lying about near the tent door, while your decent phone is well stashed away or in the lock ups.

Who the fuck throws a burning flare?Deserve a slap. They burn at some heat.Did it hit anybody?

Same goes for launching glass, what goes through these peoples heads when doing it?It could kill somebody.Mind 4 year ago in the campsite a empty bottle of Jack D got launched off some c**t.

There on Sunday.

We had a great day.

Was stone cold sober and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Quite a few boozy folk, but no sign of any trouble at all.

Saw Editors, Foals, Ocean Colour Scene, Deap Vally, Frank Turner and Two Door Cinema Club and couldn't fault any one of them.

Will be back, but then I have been to T for at least one day each of the last 17 years...........

People who throw flares are the most idiotic of cretins on the planet and deserve nothing more than a good beating, I didnt see any getting thrown this year thankfully but even news of one is horrible

Didn't see any glass being thrown either but did see quite a few people with bottles and stuff, although I am of the opinion even a can being launched through a crowd especially if its full could cause severe damage and I saw a few of them being thrown, its always going to happen unfortunately just hope it is kept to a minimum

Was my second T in the park this year, went to my first one in 2011 aged 17, but missed last year as I was abroad. In all honesty I am undecided whether I will be back or not. If Geoff decides to go back to the roots of the festival, it will hopefully stop attracting such cretins to the festival.

Quick summary of the Friday: Saw most of Imagine Dragons who were very good, and The Proclaimers, got there in time for 500 miles! I then saw Jake Bugg who was a stand out for me, such a talented singer and we got chatting to the people next to us who were lovely. Went to see Chase and Status who were terrible, really really wish I'd gone to see the Courteeners instead. We then had to go help our friends set up in the campsite as they had just arrived so we only caught the last 40 minutes of Calvin Harris which in all fairness was more than enough, any more would of been boring I reckon. Still a good party atmosphere though, glad I went to see him over mumford and snores.

Saturday: Awful crowd at The Fratellis. No one seemed to know any of the songs besides the "do do do" bit of Chelsea Dagger and the only time anyone showed any enthusiasm was when they thought the Camera was on them. I agree with what people said about the crowd at The View, was very near the front and had two moshpits near me, one behind me, one to the left of me, kind of spoiled it for me having to spend my time making a conscious effort not to get dragged into the moshpit. Bearing in mind that there was a wee boy just in front of me it was very inconsiderate. Saw one man emerge with a bleeding nose. Bearing in mind that The View are my favourite band however I did have an absolutely brilliant time still. After The View I got dragged to see Ke$ha, but it was surprisingly quite enjoyable had a great time, although the mosh pit next to me was a tad unnecessary and pathetic, just an excuse for the neds to beat each other up really. Then Miles Kane who was out of this world. Fantastic atmosphere in King Tuts, he really is a true showman. Probably my highlight of the whole weekend. My friend absolutely loves The Script so I went to see them, I am still fuming that I missed Travis as it sounds amazing, however The Script put on some show to be fair, Danny really is a born entertainer I will give him that.

After that I stayed with my friends to see Rihanna. We were fairly near the second barrier if that makes sense, so it was cramped for space, and everyone was getting pushed. We ended up next to these two god awful neds, covered in bad make up, fake tan, awful platinum blonde hair, you know the type. They kept picking fights with anyone who dared to invade their personal bubble even a little bit. I saw one of them make someone else cry. They started on one of my friends for having the audacity to be stood infront of her with curly hair. I think Geoff needs to re-think his line up because as long as he has acts like Rihanna, these foul sorts who aren't used to the gig environment are going to keep going and in all honesty it ruined my night a bit. Anyway, Rihanna's set started and I was BORED TO TEARS so after a few songs I went to see Beady Eye all on my todd. I actually felt a bit embarrassed at how small the crowd was, and how rubbish the crowd was. It honestly did not go beyond the tarpaulin, the rubbish mid-afternoon pop acts attracted a bigger crowd than the mighty Liam Gallagher. Anyway, despite what anyone says I think they put on a good show, I think on TV Liam comes across as having a very nasal voice, but he doesn't at all actually live. The crowd seemed to be asleep (something Liam commented on himself at one point). People should really know by now that Liam's not a huge showman, you're not going to get him dancing about or whatever. But it was ridiculous, no one at all seemed that into it.

Sunday- oh god. Let's not even go there. I got dragged to see some truly horrendous acts who we will never talk of again. Stereophonics and The Killers were a brilliant end to the weekend however.

All in all, I would say a good weekend was had, but I don't think I realised just how bad the Sunday line up was until I got there. Like I say, hopefully there will be some changes next year, as I doubt at the minute I will be buying a ticket. Campsite was decent banter, camped in red 3, had lovely neighbours.

I agree about the Fratellis and Beady Eye. I was embarrassed for Liam who although can be a dick, is the perfect front man. I like the Beady Eye’s songs but most of the crowd were only into the Oasis songs he played. I don't understand why there is so little interest; still even Oasis had their haters.

I thought Sunday was great; Mallory Knox started the day well. (It seems odd that when people call of for heavy guitar music, a band like this had an average crowd at best!) Deap Valley were ok but then Ocean Colour Scene in the sun was something I have been dreaming about for almost 20 years! I though Bastille were good and the size of the crowd there was amazing. Frank Turner was probably the biggest surprise of the day for me. Some of his songs are great but his commentary between songs even better. He summed up what festivals are about really well. Editors were really good (By this stage I was wanting the sun to go down, how hot was it?) I ended up seeing the Stereophonics who were slightly disappointing for me but still great. The killers then ended off an amazing day and amazing weekend. I was slightly disappointed with the crowd though. They were up for it but there was hardly any jumping at all, compared to Kasabian the year before which was mental.

I don't understand your surprise. TCGE has alienated the older T regulars, genuine music fans and rock fans in particular. They stayed away. The last 2 years have been devoid of any real diversity and he has put all his eggs in a very small basket to maximise profits. Is it any wonder then that the majority of the crowd he attracts all want to go see the same acts and as they are all new festival goers, they don't really have a clue about the cues and crowd dynamics that can turn a good set into an amazing experience. T has been transformed into a big nightclub complete with house DJs. I'm hoping he's learned his lesson and T comes back but I'm not convinced.
