Muse already said a while ago they'll be doing larger scale outdoor summer shows 2013 due to their plans.

KOL and The Killers in 2009, don't see that again. I can't see that The Killers have ever headlined IOW festival though?, any reason for that?

With Blur, the latest R&L headliner news kinda adds to the info Neil has heard of them not doing UK shows, and if that's right it goes for T also, they don't really have exclusives which would mean either IOW or Glasto sharing them and they only did Glasto in 09 and from what Neil has said, they are more likely than anything one of the backup options if The Stones say no. I think there is a lot that says it won't be Blur, I actually think given this, IOW is the most likely location for Blur if the info is wrong.

Thats Rock Werchter confirmed Green Day, Blur and King of Leon

and only being a week before T I would say that guarantees at least one if not 2 of them to be headlining, personally I would prefer Green Day but Kings of Leon are definitely looking likely

Edit: and I know Neil said that Blur* were not planning anything UK wise, but that can obviously change but they are the least likely out of the 3

even looking at Optimus Alive's last few years. They share a headliner with T. I don't see how KOL won't happen. Also in some form, a headliner from Optmus had played R&L. Albeit 2009 being slightly different with it being a sub at R&L and dance tent had 2nd stage header at Optimus. Seem to be more at R&L than V by a fair bit, all I could see for V was Kasabian in 2010 and The Roses this year although Justice closed as the dance act and headed R&L NME

Just to say guys, supposing we have KOL and Green Day. Who is your money on for the 3rd? Bearing in mind, one of them will almost defo headline Glastonbury next year, happens every year, 2007 even had 2 and 2008 glasto had a T sub headline, same as in 2011 as well, although it wasn't originally planned that way.

Mine is still GaGa.
