T in the Park 2013

I reckon Paramore would sub NME stage, or 3rd on Main stage. Basing that on them being of a similar size of My Chemical Romance and 30 Seconds To Mars, and the slots those two have played at T in recent years. Paramore might even be slightly less popular after half the band left. Guess it depends on how their next album does.

EDIT: That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if they did headline NME, they could probably pull it off depending on the Main Stage and Tut's headliners. Like I said, depends on the next album.

The fact you didn't want them there doesn't make any less of a perfect NME headliner for T, they would have went down excellently

I'm going to put it out there now, Paramore will never, ever headline the NME stage, not good/big enough, they may headline king tuts but that's as big as they'll get.

It seems as if the nme is reserved for dance acts at the moment to give people a choice of which genre to watch.

Does anyone know much about the deposit scheme?

It wasn't overly clear at the time when it went onsale, but I paid 2 x deposits for me and a friend. We assumed if we changed our minds we would just lose the deposit.

Got an email yesterday saying that the remaining money will automatically come off my card on November 16th. My friend has since decided she doesn't want to go anymore and is ok with losing her deposit. But it seems this isn't an option.

I don't know anyone else who wants the ticket, and I'm not overly confident that I'd be able to shift the ticket if the lineup turns out to be uninspiring.

If there isn't enough funds in my account (which there won't be) then I wonder if both tickets will be cancelled and deposits lost? I only have the cash for one ticket. Do you think it's worth explaining to ticketmaster and seeing if I can cancel one?

I reckon they would go with one of the more 'normal' acts in Green Day/KOL, while Gaga is 'bigger' the other two are safer sellers when it comes to the festival market.

Would that rule them out of TITP as bands don't often seem to play European festivals and UK festivals in back-to-back days?

Particularly if KOL headline Friday at TITP as Neil predicted (and he tends to be good at that), then Green Day would have to travel back to Scotland on Sunday with all their stuff and I've been told Spanish festivals tend to finish quite late.
