Strange they've done away with the late night Big Top slots (bar on the Saturday). Main clashes for me are:

Dirty Three vs Concrete Knives (Dirty Three all the way)

Jeffrey Lewis vs Stranded Horse (probably Jeff but really wanted to see Stranded Horse)

Patti Smith and Patrick Watson (can still see half an hour of Patrick Watson).

Overall not too bad...

Lots of little overlaps (I can see much running between stages) - but about as least-bad as it could be I suppose! Worst for me are

I Break Horses/John Grant - gotta be John Grant - dash to catch the IBH finale

Dark Dark Dark/Toy - Have to see Toy but can catch 25mins of DDD

Driver Drive Faster/2:54 - get to start at 2:54 and finish at DDF (also then be late for Anna Calvi)

Doug Paisley/Eagle and the Worm - got to be Doug [but can I just say I think E&tW would be a great late night Tipi on the last night choice ;-)]

Outfit/Deer Tick - Got to be Outfit - another one of those dashes to catch the end of Deer Tick

Grandaddy/Villagers - obviously knew about this one and obviously GRANDADDY!

Ya I missed the I Break Horses/John Grant one - will almost definitely be John Grant for me there too.

There's probably about 10 acts I'd quite like to see who I'll have to miss but that was always to be expected given the number of amazing acts on the bill! Annoyingly there's not much on Sunday late afternoon that I wanna see but then wanna see almost everything later on sunday!

It's almost like they listened to me and moved First Aid Kit and Delicate Steve around, meaning I can now see them both! HUZZAH!

There does seem to be a few bigger gaps between acts this year, and yes, the early finishes for both the Big Top and Tipi do seem strange. But other than that, I'm ready and raring to go!

The Acorn vs. Hannah Cohen, Woods vs. Delicate Steve and Dark Dark Dark vs. Luke Roberts are the main ones for me. Also a shame I won't get to see any of The Stepkids and there are a few little overlaps like only getting to see 20 mins or so of Robert Ellis. Apart from that it's all good! But when am I going to eat on Friday night?! John Grant -> Dirty Three -> Veronica Falls -> Beach House with no gaps!

Yes, great work on the clashfinders guys!

I guess now we have the stage times we can turn our attention to guessing who plays the secret sets (both in the woods and in the Tipi) and who plays on Thursday night!

- Creature with the Atom Brain should only be on for 30 mins and not 45 mins ;-)

- Pictish Trail should only be on for 45 mins and not 1 hour ;-)

- Richard Buckner should be on for 1 hour and not 45 mins ;-)

- The Shivers should be on for 45 mins and not 30 mins ;-)

Just to let you know that I saw one small problem...William Elliot Whitmore is down to play 14:15 to 15:15 and you sheet says stop at 15:00.

Top evening at the Woods Stage.

Antlers v Perfume Genius is the only real bummer.

So any idea why the late night slots on the Friday and Sunday expected on the Big Top Stage are not there? Has the terms of the licence changed this year?

It is a bit surprising that it all comes to a close at 11 on the Friday and Sunday but of course we've still got the secret sets in the Tipi and the forest disco to look forward to And I'll definitely be seeing Sleep Party People on the Saturday, that is going to be amazing.

Agree, this seems very odd. Tipi and Big Top both finishing before 10pm (except for Sat) and main stages over by 11pm - doesn't seem like the usual EOTR i know and love........

Main stages have always finished around 11. Perhaps they just decided the late night slots weren't working for the most part? Friday's forgiveable because they've got a naturally limited number of artists.

Although we may be losing an hour of music on Friday and Sunday night we're effectively gaining one with the earlier starts on both of those days. I prefer that on the whole as well - less sitting around in tents waiting for the bands to start.

I am a first timer, been reading the forum for a while.

So is there any late nite entertainment and dancing or does everyone go to bed early? I do hope not. What time do the bars stay open to? I am getting a bit worried having read the above.
