awsl13
Hi! I've landed myself a job with Cream at Creamfields, I'll be working on the bar, just wondered if any of you guys have ever worked for a festival or Creamfields before and how the experience was? I'll be arriving on the Friday and working two 8 hour shifts on the bar during Saturday and Sunday so still plenty of time to enjoy the festival! Cheers! girl_in_the_fire
I worked at 3 festivals last year and I loved it. It's a great experience - it's awesome to see the festival from a different angle (getting there a day earlier and getting to see the place empty before everyone arrives is pretty cool), but also get to go in and enjoy it when you're off shift. You'll meet a bunch of new people, both people that are working too and regular festival-goers, and still get to go and enjoy the music. It's nice having a separate, and smaller, camping area from everyone else, too! I worked at Creamfields last year, but not on the bar. I was wristbanding which wasn't fun to be honest...which is one reason why I opted to just buy a ticket this year instead! But I know a bunch of people who worked the bar last year and loved it, and they are doing it again this year... ...basically, you'll have a great time!!
