When do they normally start announcing acts? Starting to decide which fest to do this year and EXIT seems like it's normally a good one to go to.

Probably going as well, first time. The pre-NYE package deals were nice enough to convince me.

I'm sure I will, problem is I also have Lowlands, Sziget, a skiing trip and a family visit to Mexico coming up this year.. so I'll have to make sure I can manage to find the free days and cash.

What's a decent estimate on spendings at Exit? Around 75 euro a day? (that's my approx. Sziget budget)

And what are the best days to arrive and leave? Currently I am aiming at flying over July 6 (Saturday) and leaving July 15 (Monday). For Sziget I enjoy the minus days a lot, does Exit also have those facilities?

It is very cheap there.. about £1.20 a pint, £3 for a decent meal, 80p for cigs.. 75 euro is way too much.

I think over 5 days in Novi Sad I spent about £150 all in and that was getting taxis etc back to apartment.

There will be music for 5 days I believe this year though last year they did have stuff going on in the town a couple days before the festival.

Last year we did Edinburgh to Budapest with the long transfer and spent a night in Budapest each way.

This year going from Aberdeen to Belgrade with a change in Paris CDG. This way its a quicker transfer plus get to spend a night in Belgrade each way.

Surely not long now till 1st acts are announced, plenty eurofests releasing names.

Last year they announced the first lot on January 26th.. fingers crossed it's this week or next

Right surely they must be ready to announce some acts. A lot of posts coming on their Facebook page but they seem to be just re-living 2012... we want 2013 info

I'd say its a certainty that Atoms For Peace will be announced on Friday.

They were announced for a festival in Slovakia the same weekend today, and the slightly confusing but cryptic clue that Exit Festival posted on Facebook yesterday makes sense now.

The first step on this journey, starting on Friday, 7am will show us how joined superstars form a molecule that will make you react in a positive manner!
