markeee
Been offered a job well a new job within the company I'm already at - but it'd mean less money as atm I work nights so get night premium this is mostly days and the hours are alsdo pretty crap imo 2;30-2;30am 5 days a week..so 3 days off but thats not that good considering the hours It feels like I should take it though as it was offered to me and it will also help with future career promotion within company as you're more visible etc during the day If the hours weren't such crap I'd take it, but 2.30pm till 2.30am id have no time to do anytihng before or after work really!! t8yman
depends on your goals in life, your age now, and how you want to progress toward the goals. shitty hours for a coupla years isnt the end of the world if the end result is where you would like to be. if you are in your early 20's it isnt that big a deal IMHO. i dont think i could ever do 9-5 office work, i never have. the hours I work now are pretty crappy and I'm 41, but needs must. I did 10am to 10pm 6 days a week when I left 6th form. i saved loads, cos I never really got a chance to spend it! working long, hard unsociable hours can really teach you a lot about yourself, but getting stuck in a thankless job with shitty conditions and no real promotion prospects can fuck you up for life.
