Purple Monkey
why does virtually every so called politician not have the same clarity of thought? Edited August 14, 2012 by Purple Monkey
Spindles
Fantastic videos that I have shared on myself. Thanks very much. Alot of the concepts expressed are very much in common, I am sure, with concepts we have all reached within our own lives (illustrated within the debate that has recently raged about sports in schools, with the typical knee jerk reaction of "YAY! More competition" which will inevitably give us another generation of bullying PE teachers with the fat kids, the skinny kids and the wheezy kids on the edges being left behind - a familiar theme to anyone around the age of 40 like me) School in the UK failed alot of people of my generation and, by the time in the late 90s I had produced progeny and they were starting out it had reached crisis point of massive class sizes, no books and paper or pens and when the tories got kicked out a shitload of effort was put in to try and fix that. I was pleased that it was and I agreed with what the government of the time did. Those same kids are now at the end of their school careers now the bas.....erm, Tories are back in power and it is too early for me to judge whether the changes made by the last labour government have been the right ones (I think that they helped, because let's be honest, the school landscape of 1997 was like the surface of the moon, barren with the occasional peak or crater). The videos address alot of the issues that I had with schooling 20 years ago, which in turn have become problems in society as I have grown up and it is nice to see such thinking exists and can be expressed in a manner that people can get their head round.
