Has anyone had experience claiming through ticketplan insurance?

I booked my tickets back in march and then was assaulted a couple of month later and my nose was broken. Due to this, i have cronic headaches, breathing issues and sore nose constantly etc etc.

I bought the cancellation insurance thankfully.

I have filled in the refund request form attached my doctors note saying i shouldn't go to leeds and confirming my injury and that i am awaiting surgey (which is soon)

Has anyone had to claim a refund before? if so

Where Ticketplan nice about it? How long did the refund take? how did they get in contact to you about it and once you send the refund application how long did it take for them to contact you.

P.s i sent the refund request on a monday then the thursday after (yesterday) see tickets emailed me saying my order has been dispatched... Will this have any effect?

Any information will be appriciated.

Thanks,

Hi thanks for the reply.

No reply yet. My mum told me to wait for them to realise i sent the request before the dispatch and they may just ask me to send the tickets back with a reference number however, i feel i should contact them.... I sent the form recorded delivery and the letter was signed for etc.

Unsure on what to do... not sure if one day poof the money is back in my account or if they inform me and then it takes a while to go back in... posting tickets back is no problem

It is if they don't receive the tixs before R&L as they will refuse to give any back and if the processing time for your claim is even a week long that will leave you with just the 1 day to make sure the tixs get to them before the Thursday.

Just ring them as ultimately you paid to be protected.
