Leeds Festival 2012 Guestlist / VIP Advice

hello all,

This will be my 3rd Leeds Fest and this year we are doing things a bit differently.

A friend of a friend has managed to sort us out with VIP/Guestlist. We've had to buy normal tickets but have been told to go to "THE PORTACABIN" to get upgraded.

Just after a bit of info regarding this as a look on Google and other forums don't really seem to have any clear information.

There are 8 of us on this "special list", 2 will be going down on Thursday (me and another) and the rest the following day. We've been told we have access to the Guest/Artists camp site and facilities but unsure whether this allows us to park our camper van up and have tents next to it? We bought a camper van ticket anyway as weren't sure what the craic was.

Can someone clear up things for us and give us a clear cut guide to what we need to do?

ie/ Do we need to go in a special entrance on the Thursday or can we drive straight to this VIP bit? Do we have to park up somewhere, enter the festival, go to the sacred portacabin, get upgraded, leave the festival and then go park somewhere else?

As you can tell, I really don't have a clue and any help would be very much appriciated.

Not the greatest line up I've ever seen but The Cure & Black Keys are enough to seal the deal for me.

Heres hoping we get the camper van rigged up no problem

The other reposnse is pretty much spot on, but not sure I have ever really seen camper vans in the guest site.

I know they have them in the disabled camp site.

Just drive to the guest car park and they will let you know
