VCK
It's pretty sad I've noticed this But the stage looks to be a slightly different shape to the stage we've had since 2005. It appears to be less "rounded". Will be interesting to see. Has anyone got any pics/vids of a possibly finished stage?
let's 'ave it!!!
Doesn't it only look rounded when they put the skin on?
Paul ™
Its a new stage, same one that was used at Hackney Weekend
YumYum
As someone's already mentioned this year they're using the stage from R1 Weekend. They usually use The Other stage from Glastonbury but as it's its year off I'm guessing they couldn't get it or something like that

the wonderwhy
The Hackney stage was quite good actually. Just hope they stick a few more speakers up, as it was a little on the quiet side in some places... Had no idea they usually use a Glasto stage. That's pretty cool
VCK
So it'll look like this but with the Reading/Leeds logos on it? Not too bad, I heard the Main Stage would be bigger. Hopefully the screens will be bigger though, like they were for The Stone Roses at Heaton Park: Change is always good though, Reading and Leeds have had that same Main Stage design for nearly 10 years now whilst the other fests have changed theirs. It's good that they're keeping it fresh.

eFestivals
I think you'll find that it's Glasto that uses an R&L stage *disclaimer - this is a tounge-in-cheek remark that in no way requires an explanation of who owns what and borrows what from who I think you'll find that neither own stages (aside from Glasto's Pyramid), and instead use one or more of the many specialist staging suppliers/contractors. Yellow_Fellow
Damn, that's nice. Rebranding is a welcome change. Also, I went past the FR Tent yesterday on the way into London to see Kasabian - that thing looks much bigger.

TheBoz
Would've thought they would have NME and BBC Radio 1 plastered over it? It looks quite plain.
5co77ie
Thoguht you were a good Blue Scottie, don't want none of that redshite going on!
Vieuphoria
good grief that's very red.
VCK
It does look rather plain like someone said, and rather odd without the logos, but like I say, change is good.
