V Festival 2013 Line Up Predictions

Oh well, Another year over………….

So thought I’d start the ball rolling V Fest 2013 Line Up predictions, as much as I enjoyed it there has got to be an improvement on this years, suggestions????

At a guess I'd go with Coldplay and Kings of Leon as headliners

Then throw in your pop acts - Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, Jessie J, The Saturdays

Example and Chase + status headlining 4music stage,

Elbow to sub main stage one day and Tinie Tempah subbing the other

Magnetic Man and One Direction headlining the arena

just a guess but I'm expecting a lot of repeat bookings

With only doing reading next year I would imagine muse could be one of the headliners.

BBC, Vaccines, Foster the People etc. in high main stage slots.

Mumford + Sons as a sub, maybe ?

Chilli peppers have been away a while. I'd expect a return from them and probably KOL.

However it will go one of two ways based on the ticket sales from this year. My guess will be just like last year with the kids demanding their rap favourites, and lets be honest V has turned into 70% 16-20 year olds. So to sell to the masses.....

I would guess a recycled Rhianna from last year headlining and perhaps Jay Zeeeeeeee.

Personally I would like Green Day (three albums on their way I believe), and Tiesto.

I would also love to see a return of QOTSA, but it will never happen.

Why would I go to a one day festival where artists perform 2 songs 4 hours drive from me rather than a two day festival which has a great range of artists (I like all sorts of artists like I saw Gossip and RYG this weekend who I would never of seen) 20 mins drive from me?

T4OTB is rubbish and I wouldn't go near it with a barge pole.

How can you disagree? 90% of the line up this year would fit in with T4 on the beach easily. All the typical crap that gets played on Radio 1. Reading festival is a shit whole so don't think anyone could be a snob for going to Reading.
