Cans allowed?

My friend said to me today that he heard there was a new rule saying no cans in the campsite? I assume this is absolute bullshit however can someone tell me whether they too have heard this? and also I've always taken glass into the campsite (obviously not the arena) but my friend is saying I've just been lucky to get away with it in the past, can someone confirm the rules for glass as well please!

Cans are definitely fine.

Glass is definitely banned.

Thought so, think he probably saw the bit about not being allowed them in the arena and got confused! but turns out I have just been lucky getting glass in all these years... oops! never actually bothered to look at what you can and can't bring in the past! thanks though!

Nah, jokes. There's also some can recycling scheme thingy where you get monies for handing in cans, or something. At least there'll be a bit of variety from the cup-stackers this year. The can-gatherers...
