Newbie, question regarding alcohol

Hey guys,

1st time going to creamfields, and been doing a little research regarding what and how much alcohol you can bring to the campsite, and am getting a little concerned cos we have bought quite a lot of booze. Think its like 24 cans and a litre of spirits. Just a couple of questions,

1) Are they quite strict in searching how much you bring in?

2) Do cans of dragon soop, vodka mixes etc count towards the can count or is it only beer/cider?

Its awkward to say really I think its a bit hit and miss with the person who is going to search your bag.

Some of the stewards seem to want to go through everything and take everything out ya bag but some just have quick browse over.

I think you may be able to stash some extra's in between clothes in a bag etc.

I think the sepearate cans of voddy mixes etc would count towards your 1 crate.

I tend just to stick to the limit and take the biggest crate I can find and a full litre of spirit.

As I understand it, as long as you have no more than 24 cans you're fine....

Stick it in your sleeping bag before you roll it up. They're not going to ask you to unravel it all and hold up a queue whilst your stuffing the hell out of it on a muddy ground. Alcopops count towards the crate. Mixers like Redbull don't.
