About 10 miles to the south in Blandford, its been raining quite heavy now for about the last hour and atm it looks pretty well set in for at least the next few hours or so.

Let's get it all out of the way now.

Yep, once this rain stops this afternoon it will be wonderful right through till Monday! Dry, warm, sunny spells (you wouldn't want it too sunny cos then it gets too hot, esp by the garden stage). Fantastic!!

Aaggghhh what is happening to the wether forecasts - the predicted sun and fluffy clouds now appear threatening with talk of RAIN!

Can see the tents from my bedroom window. The 6.00pm bells have just chimed on the radio and ... it's finally sunny here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whooppeeeee!!

I think from this point on it should be reasonably dry.

Latest report is for mainly cloudy with a slight chance of drizzle on Sunday. I'll take that. Cloud cover will keep things a tad warmer at night. All that sunshine forecast for earlier in the week would only have got us all hot & bothered.

And at the moment, on train between Bristol and Salisbury, weather outside is sunny with scatttered clouds. Keep it up please!

So where did that long shower on Friday night (not to mention the hours on Sunday that started around when predictions were any rain would have cleared the area) come from? That wasn't in any of the forecasts. Though it was warmer than they said, so maybe that was balance.
