It was pretty awful when the wheels on the trolley fell off just past the car park, and then we had to trek all the way to yellow carrying everything in the pouring rain and wind.... 3 hours from car park to campsite!

I don't think the walk is that bad just get your head down and walk no need for a trolley. Remember what Superhans said "Real men don't get the Earth to help carry their luggage, mate. They carry it themselves"

The walk is a nightmare... BUT... At least they have got rid of that f**king footbridge from hell from the carpart now... I am much happier walking an extra half mile than up and down that son of a bitch!

Not too bad at all,i never understand people moaning about the walk from car/campsite/arena,if you are in a group,few beers it flies by.

This. Go try the walk of death at T then come back and be happy! Mind you I've only ever stayed at the camper van field at Download so that's the carpark one eliminated anyways. Man up fatties, they show coverage on Sky Arts 2 if you can't hack it.

If they aren't up to the walking, they could always stay at home and watch the coverage at a later date to see what they missed. Geddit?

Check out ebay nearer the time, I have had tickets off there pretty cheap and without any problems in the past... This year I had just had too much to drink and got a little over excited... Need to lock my bank card away while drinking in the future!!

yeah i nearlly had to go alone this year after people dropping out, theres a facebook group and everyone in the same situation can all meet up and camp together so your not really going it alone, or even get a few peoples numbers off the forums and ask to tag along with them, more the merrier i say
