Gogol Bordello were good at the last festival I saw them at. Would also like to catch Jake Bugg - but I'm sure someone mentioned somewhere that he's in Japan or somewhere during Sziget week.

The one and only time we saw The Hives at a festival, we were standing close to the stage and the bass was that high that it made you feel literally sick!

So it looks as if V festival are getting set to announce Kings of Leon next week. Seeing as Sziget shared both headliners with V last year, do we think that we can expect a similar announcement from Sziget?

More worrying though, in the light of two possible shared headliners, is the sort of artists that are being rumoured for the other headline spot - Lady Gaga - oh please please please noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:

Seriously considering my European options this year, Sziget was my first choice but Wertcher is looking more and more appealing....

I need more announcements to get me all frothy at the gash! Are we due any anytime soon?

NiN will be touring again in 2013 and 2014, would be a good addition IMHO.

But to be honest I rarely see the main stage headliners at Sziget. The past years for me the bigger acts on the genre-specific other stages have always been more interesting. Spotify has been a big game changer there: I know more bands beforehand. The downside is a lack of surprising discoveries during the festival and more clashes in the schedule, but I recommend it nonetheless. Some of my friends struggle to find more than two acts they <em>really</em> want to see on any given day, I tend to have two options at any given time. ;)

I just wish they'd announce something that I could get excited about - because very little of what has been announced or rumoured does much for me, so far!

Nine Inch Nails confirmed one date on Germany' festival Rock'n' Heim - 16-18 August. Fingers Crossed for Sziget too!!! Suddenly this became highest priority! If Sziget don't confirm I'll skip and find them elsewhare ...
