If John Doe would post on szigetnews.com Iron Maiden and Kasabian will headline, I would believe it immediately, but these rumours seem to come from people that haven't built up any credibility yet. In previous years I've seen more people saying something like, I've heard a rumour ... are going to headline, but usually such rumours turn out to be incorrect. So, I wouldn't count on Iron Maiden and Kasabian yet.

About the schedule, the set times of the Arena DJs surely aren't right: almost every year at some point it's said that the big DJs clash with the Main Stage headliner, but in the end it always turns out the big DJs are on much later and the night starts with some Hungarian DJs. Every DJ playing only one hour is also a bit short and the last DJ starting at 00.00 simply can't be correct. For Main Stage it seems there will indeed be one act per day less than in the previous years, but for A38 I expect the usual two Hungarian acts per day will be added to what we already know. The A38 slots of 15.00 and 04.00 are still empty each day, so there is some space to add them.

I notice that the Hungarian rock band, Tankczapada, or whatever they're called, haven't been added to the line up yet. I think I'm right in saying that they play most years?

Really looking forward to this now, for the all round experience more than anything. Some bands I want to see, others not too fussed, but there is a whole city on the doorstep for the times the line up isn't too appealing.

Can anyone have a guess from past years how many more headliners are still to be announced?

They are on the schedule though, and other Sziget sites have confirmed it. Very strange to say it's not confirmed

According to what I've read on other sites, they used to have five bands on the main stage each day but this year it looks more like four. From what I can tell, the only band on the main stage TBA is the Saturday headliner. The rumours suggest this is either Kasabian or Iron Maiden (though Iron Maiden could also play on Day 0)

So it looks like there's only one band on the main stage, two in the A38 and five in the Arena to be announced, plus Day 0 and minor stages. I have asked Sziget UK if they'll confirm this but I doubt they will!

it's poor this year from sziget to be honest I think, certainly not worth the asking price.

i wouldn't mind doing a euro fest one year but outside of the bloody euro economy if possible.

i don't suppose any recommendations on the best euro best to hit?

Hurricane is the best I've been to so far (in Europe, Coachella is best but it's in California) . Werchter improves every year and usually has the best line up, but Hurricane was more fun and very reasonably priced
