Portishead would probably be just as big a catch as Phoenix, eFestivals claims they haven't played an outdoor UK festival since 2002. Willing to be proved wrong but I don't think it's going to be anyone of the Latitude-headlining size of the two so far announced.

I reckon this is spot on. The status of the sat and sun headliners is unprecedented for EotR and I expect the fri headliners to be much smaller. So no Eels, Cave, Portishead. Frightened Rabbit??

I'm obviously setting myself up for a fall here, but I just think that the tone of the EotR announcements so far is not pointing to a big name being announced tomorrow. Dawes would be great!

Don't much like the David Byrne and St Vincent album, but the live show might be great. I think Neil would approve mind:-)

Also, Jens Lenkman, Policia, Frigthened Rabbit and Savages are all big pluses. A very good line up so far!

I've just pencilled myself in to review EotR this year.

But it doesn't say they're an exclusive, so I'm hoping they might pop up somewhere else that I'm already going to.

Ah, didn't see Frightened Rabbit - they're on the EOTR website but not on the Efests or TLOBF announcements. That's good. Savages and Caitlin Rose I'm in favour of too. Jens and Policia maybe. Overall, I'm calling this the worst lineup of the 6 I've been to. If I didn't have a ticket already, I probably wouldn't get one. Ah well.
