Andy Loos - HUGE Respect!

I think Andy Loos deserve their own topic.

Seriously, some of those loos were cleaner than mine at home! Not once was i met with a sight so bad i couldn't go in it. They work endlessley but without much praise. I mean, think about it, not many of us would do that job and so the fact they are constantly cleaning and replacing the loo roll and filling up the hand wash is a credit to them and they never get thanked, so i'm thanking them now. THANK YOU! Some of the loos even had a hook and mirrors! I mean, come on, what more do we want!

Personally, i would have a tip bucket or something on leaving and you put your LOOSe (see what i did there?) change in it and it goes to those working on the site. I'd happily do that.

Also, from my own experiences, people seemed to very much have the 'leave it as you left it' attitude so no one was handing over to something unpleasant.

Makes for a much better time when you have clean loos.

It was particularly good (even though the noise woke me up) to have them cleaned first thing on Monday morning. Too often at events this doesn't happen and the last morning is pretty obnoxious as the excesses of the last party night are all too obvious...

Yes, great job again by Andy Loos, and thanks to the vast majority who took the moment's effort required to leave it as they found it. You can't have a successful festival without a good loo system.

If there was a tip jar for their staff, I'd be happy to throw some coins in.

They definitely did a very good job, much appreciated.

I feel like a few EoTR attendees aren't as clean/respectful as they could be. I saw a few fairly disgusting cubicles, and there were beer cans/glasses in some of the urinals, which I'm sure never used to happen. But overall it was really good.

I know my colleague had an issue with one not flushing .. but other than that....

It's probably the case that they were kept that clean because the festival paid the money to ensure they were kept that clean.

After all, cleaning and emptying is labour intensive, and that comes at a cost. If loos elsewhere are kept less clean it's probably the case that the deal they've signed for is a deal which specifically says they're cleaned less than they might otherwise be.

I just want to echo what has been said, great job Andy Loos! But could I suggest one minor possible improvement? A beverage holder, placed high on the door, would make them the perfect festival loos ;-) !!

Yes big respect to Andy Loos but bigger respect to EOTR for paying them to do it int he first place !
