You see, I cant be cynical about it. I didn't like the lightsaber at all, I thought it was massively gimmicky. But x-wings, tie fighters and the falcon made me tingle.

also, didnt like that shitty "speederbike" thing

the sound of the TIE Fighters alone makes me semi rigid.

I will watch it with an open mind, I'm prepared to hate it, but hope they do a good job.

The only bit that I really liked was the shit scared storm trooper. It's an early teaser though. The likelihood was that it was never going to come close to exciting me.

The proper trailers are when I'll start paying proper attention.

Cross lightsaber is very gimmicky, but I don't care, loads of elements of SW are silly as balls.New X-Wings look amazing, seeing the Falcon in a super detailed modern film way is very exciting, really like the look of Daisy Ridley's character, and that magnum ice-cream she's riding. John Boyega as a stormtrooper will add an interesting element to the proceedings. Really happy to see stuff that was filmed OUTSIDE in THE REAL WORLD! Those X-Wings skimming across the water was a great moment.

As for the actual trailer, I liked it! The lightsaber, I'll reserve judgement on, if its some sort of ancient/early model I can live with it! Depends how its used really.

The rest was just awesome, the new storm troopers look awesome, the Falcon coming back! Yeah its got me excited

TBH there's nothing in the trailer that makes want to see it or avoid it, it was a kinda dull trailer with nothing to make it seem epic or big apart from the Star Wars music and Falcon at the end but I've already seen them before and they hold no nostalgia for me.

Agree 100% Barry. The CGI in the 2nd one pissed me off mind you. But they're all good.

People are expecting their childhood to be re-handed to them on a plate or something. Its weird. The criticism for the new teaser (note - not even a trailer) was utterly hilarious. About 6 seconds of a movie in post production and millions of people have already decided that its going to be shit!

Episode three was fantastic and is as good if not better than the originals.

:lol: Don't be silly now! Its better than the other 2 prequels a but better than Empire Strikes Back?! Are you mad?! or even RoTJ?!

III was decent enough but had a lot of needless shite thrown in. Even then, the Obi Wan Vs. Anakin fight went on a bit long, Yoda vs. Sidous was just for CGI lolz.

Then it was mostly forgetable between the opening battle and Order 66/the final battle even when Anakin is first dubed as Darth Vader. Why that happened half way through the film and not at the end I don't know, it doesn't make alot of sense his not as conflicted there but if he chose the Dark Side as he saw Padme dying? That would have worked alot better.

So, SPECTRE is the name of the next Bond movie. Also, Christophe Waltz was the only cast member who's character wasn't revealed, which in itself pretty much confirmed that he's going to be playing Blofeld like the rumours suggested.

I enjoyed the second two of the prequels. Not great or anything, and had some horrible shit ( Christensen mainly ), but enjoyable nonetheless.

Well the trailer for the terminator film has peaked my interest, looks far better than I was expecting.

IGN have done a video where they take it apart and discuss each bit, which is also well worth a watch.
