Still one of the greatest rock anthems and tightest bands of all time.   Today I'm transplanting 160 bedding plant seedlings and it's bloody cold in the garden so I'm glad of the occasional break to pop into my posh shed to play along.

Back in the mists of time before they became the soft rock band Chicago, they had a sharper edge as the Chicago Transit Authority.  When I used to work in Bristol this was a jukebox favourite as you had a lot of minutes for your money.

A bit knackered tonight because I've driven up to London and back in a day for a funeral of a close friend of the family who sadly died last month at the age of 99.

Thanks Dondo.  Yes it was a good send off. Odd because of Covid restrictions.  Thirty people max, sitting safe distanced and no singing and no wake afterwards.  Uncle BilI was a great poetry lover and I had to read one of his favourites, which seemed to go OK.

Not sure if I have posted any Wedding Present songs but a band I have seen loads over the last 30 years and an absolute favourite of mine.

I used to be into US power rock and in his day Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheen really rocked.  This is in their later years but still not bad.

Most of my bedding plants seem to have taken so now it's land levelling and ground preparation but first off to an afternoon of boules with a mate in the village.
