I saw The Proclaimers a few years back at the Trowbridge Pump Festival but sadly they were past their prime.

I've seen the Proclaimers a few times over the years (I used to know one of them many moons ago). Last time was a couple of years ago and we took the kids. Was excellent so shame to hear they weren't that good when you saw them

The Mike Flowers Pops did a tour supporting Gary Glitter.  But I have to admit I saw the Gary Glitter Gang show on my 40th birthday as he seemed to symbolise refusing to accept that you are getting old.  Little did we know then.......

I saw James on the tour they did after this was a big hit. By all accounts Tim wasn't a massive fan of how big it became so they played it 1st to get it out the way. This was at the Barrowlands in Glasgow- a great venue

John's Children were the first band Marc Bolam played in.  He also wrote this song, which was banned at the time by the BBC for the line "Lift up your skirt and fly".  They toured Germany supporting The Who, who complained that John's Children's wild antics were upstaging them and had them thrown off the tour.
