Sorted my pebble shifting.  My wife's niece's husband, an ex South African rugby player, is going to come and do the heavy work with his mate (another one-time South African rugby player) next week.  Only problem is that he cut his hand preparing a steak yesterday so will have to wait a few days for it to heal.  So, meanwhile, it will be back to veg patch weeding for me.

I saw The Pickets playing a benefit for the Miners during the 84 strike at the Parc and Dare Hall in Treorchy in the Rhondda Valley.  An emotionally charged night when I was also made an honorary member of the NUM as they thought I'd done a fair job reporting the strike.

I think the original version was Soul Limbo by Booker T and the MGs - not meaning to be pedantic.  But to be sure of that you have to know your ONIONS

 

Half the MGs formed the band that Elwood and Jake put together in the Blues Brothers.

We've had love as a link word a few times so let's got for NOT.  Godley and Creme grew out of 10cc.  I've seen them live and they are excellent.  And, as for the very clever video, they directed it and went on to do videos for lots of other bands.
