TUNA

 

A good song is a good song and open to many interpretations - for example the many covers of great Lennon-McCartney classics.  This song is played by a couple of members of Hot Tuna who played at one of the first festivals I went to at Shepton Mallet (Glastonbury -1) in 1970.  Hot Tuna were a spin off from Jefferson Airplane and often played on the same bill.

I think I will have posted this before.  Great song with ME enjoying it at the front at about 50 seconds.  It had been raining but by the time the set finished we had glorious dry. Magic.

Also another (tenuous) link is that Quo's most famous song, Rockin All Over the World is a Fogerty cover which I didn't realise for years. But was great and appropriate song to kick off Live Aid

STANDING  (Your status is your standing)

A day of planting out bedding plants from the greehouse to the wall along the front patio.  More of the same tomorrow but as more and more goes in the watering takes a lot longer.  It's nice and easy when everything is packed together in a greenhouse but takes a lot longer spread around the garden and the veg patch.
