I remember waking up at Glasto in 2016 stunned to hear that we'd voted to leave the EU.  I'd arranged a postal vote so I could still take part even though I was at Glasto.

2016 was my least favourite. Was really looking forward to it as well as had got pre-festival volunteering shifts but with the mud and the referendum result was not good. Only time I've ever left on a Sunday

I'd been on site a week and my feet had really bad blisters so I'd had enough.  Put me off going in 2017 but that was short lived and was back in 2019

Big day for me today.  Got a new set of hearing aids - and so far pretty good.  They include a gizmo that connects direct to the TV audio so I can hear the TV and it no longer needs to be at the high volume I used to use and I can manage without subtitles - much to Mrs GH's relief.  Mind you they are private and expensive but a big improvement, so far, on my old NHS ones.
