Oneeye, it's not big and it's not clever. Cliff Richard?? ;-)

With the Plastic Ono band playing, I'll take it from power to PEOPLE.

No 2 post ban for flour to power (I rather like that) but the jury's out on Cliff Richard.

A bit of funk from the Tower of Power

Doh beaten to it by a couple of minutes by carlos j but It's still a decent clip so I'll let it stand.

So go with Tower or People (whichever you prefer)

Sorry, but I'm going back to Atlantic for this one by Stick (no S), who was a cousin, I think, of Brownie McGhee. It's based on an old ARMY song, so that's my link word.

In the tradition of rhyming slang and taking Mr Jimmy Page as the starting point, our gang every so often need to stop for a Jimmy or a Nelson.

So here's Mr Nelson Riddle with the excellent Linda Ronstadt. Should be enough romance in here for Oneeye's wedding anniversary too.

A one eye family post; from riddle to TOM (Harry Potter)

From Tom to Biggles.

I thought you might like another, rather different, performance of Delilah also at Glastonbury from Biggles Wartime Band (usually found on the bandstand and also in the Croissant Neuf Tent). It's what they describe as the Aldi version.

Biggles at Glastonbury won't play for some reason.

I'll check it out somewhere along the line though.

Huge SAHB fan so great to see Next on here

Belated Happy anniversary oneeye, hope you have a raging hangover by the time you read this.

Biggles was a well travelled man who always travelled light.

Morning one and all, sunny start out there today but with moisture in the air. Thank you brandycoke, I am a tad fuzzy and jaded as I post this.

From light to HEAVY, marvellous stuff to kick start Saturday :)

One of the best band names of all time: Hapshash and the Coloured Coat featuring the Human Host and the Heavy Metal Kids and a Cast of Thousands

MI0002176030.jpg?partner=allrovi.com

They were actually influential graphic designers who did a lot of posters for psychedelic bands and shows in the sixties and as a spin off produced two albums but no live performances that I'm aware off.

But I'll leave you with the link word of Coat.

(Could be a cue for a bit of Dolly)

Don't have any Dolly. Very fond memories of the album New Gold Dream heard whilst on a trip in London back then, was taking a well earned rest in a little breakout room at the Venue, think I stayed there and listened to the whole album before heading home, sounded brilliant back then. Great live version.

So a coat can have many Colours, spelt the right way.

Alright, I'll link to Dolly (seeing as you don't have any and it links to the last two posts - and gets us in the mood for Glastonbury.

I like Dolly, she funded a reading initiative in Yorkshire.

I'll link to OTHER. As in the other woman, with someone else who's at Glastonbury. Whoop!

Other Space preceding White by the look of things. Caught them at Womad couple years back, was great to hear LZ songs not as you know them but plenty of references.

Oops got that wrong it's Shape shifters thought it was Space, doh, take your pick :)

Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters. Shame it won't be dark.

Edit, audio was terrible, diff link.

Mouldy old Dough is like regressing to childhood, almost forgot about that track :)

Mould to Hollow, sorry to bring it down but liked this track and especially Elizabeth Frazers vocals, and I know I'm not alone there.

As an aside, how many of the posters in this thread propose to go to the Efest meet on Wed? Would like to say hello.
