The Yardbirds are still going on the Oldies Circuit, though only the drummer is from the original band. But the new members do a pretty decent job and, if you like their catalogue they are worth catching.

This is a track from one of my all time favourites, Dory Previn (sadly now a Grumpy Gonner). She was Mrs Andre Previn until he dumped her for a younger model. That led to her writing some great songs about life and relationships. The Mythical Kings and Iguanas album really is worth hunting out.

This reprise of Going Home (sorry no performance video) which comes at the end of the album,is actually about a woman who had a bloke come and spend the night with her but he decided to leave early and Go Home.

But it also captures a bit the sadness of going home at the end of Glasto.

As you may be aware from other threads, Jolly Jock their lead singer is now very ill and this year's Glastonbury will be their last. A few of us have contacted GFL and suggested that after 16 appearances at the festival they could be honoured with a short Pyramid appearance. But sadly GFL have said no. The least we can all do is get a really big turnout for their Bandstand and Croissant Neuf tent appearances.

If you've never seen their great talent and huge sense of fun this may give you an extra flavour.
