No direct connection to Manchester but probably how you're feeling about your tickets Carlosj. I'd start ringing See Tickets and asking what's going on.

Cheers both :-) it's up to 70% so far so I know the little delivery gnomes are working hard, I'm just impatient, lol

AWAY

I've got a lot of time for Slade. Wrote some stuff every bit as melodic as The Beatles and were a great band live. Managed by Chas Chandler (former Animal) who also managed Hendrix.

Eddie Vedder, taking a break from PEARL or JAM (pick either)

And we could try smuggling Carlos in our caravan but you still need to produce your ticket each day to get in and back off site to the CV Fields.

Roy Ayers has an album Destination Motherland.

A taste or Roy and band live. Looks and sounds like real quality stuff to me and I'd discounted going to see him, oh my. Have to say the more I look at the line up the better it gets. Going to be a cracker of a year I'm sure. Can't wait.

Bit long and rambling this response. I considered the Mothers of Invention, but most of their clips were very long. Then thought from mother to father but father mutated into further. So I settled for Further On Up The Road - the excellent Last Waltz Concert where Robbie Robertson gives Clapton a run for his money.

However that prompted me to remember the highly recommended Somewhere Down The Crazy River that Robertson did post The Band.

Anyway, after all that the link word is RIVER

You can float or row a BOAT

Wouldn't be surprised to see Lulu doing this on Avalon on Friday, and of course Mr D has already played Glasto, though not sure if he did this one..

Tickets arrived last Wednesday, phew, just didn't like the idea of them arriving very last thing.... I wouldn't like to make you, whisty, struggle to pull the trolley along with me hidden in the bag.

Boat to Liner, or really, Jet Airliner
