    • Nah, they are only big enough to headline in Scotland
    • Yeah, that X-factor kid's cover has made them huge
  2. 2. Mumford & Sons

    • Nah, they are Dad's music and they wouldn't go to a festival
    • Yeah, their albums has gone platinum on both sides of the pond
  3. 3. Bloc Party

    • Nah, they can only do academy tours
    • Yeah, they have reformed and bands always headline when they reform

Biffy I am in the middle firmly but went for no, as I can't see it next year given everything. (But I wouldn't be suprised if they did.)

Based on Florence's position....I can only see Mumfords being a sub, I think thats better for them in the long run than being bumped up to early.

And Bloc Party I love them, i love the new album but I just can't see them headlining now unless the festival was desperate for an "indie" headliner.

At the moment i'm gonna call yes on Biffy, just because i can see it happening and if Stingin Belle is anything to go on their new album could be awesome

Mumfords no, but surely will be in the future

Bloc Party no, new album hasn't made big enough an impact

They might not be big enough, you have to give bands the chance to be big enough dont you?

Were muse big enough when they first headlined glasto? Were arcade big enough when they headlined reading? What this did prove is they could headline and be good at it. Or they might go the way of skunk anansie when they headlined glasto and not progress into headlining other fests.

Both bloc party and biffy have headlined other festivals so why not. It beats bands that are on a rotation of headlining major festivals and perhaps thats why reading/leeds doesnt sell out straight away.

Them and Franz Ferdinand, The Darkness, The White Sripes, Razorlight, Linin Park, The Strokes etc and they were also the 1st to put rappers up long before Glasto with Jay Z. It's one of the reason people complain so much as they expect 3 strong headliners the size of Blur, Green Day, Muse etc every year.
