That ive seen yeah 100% wasnt a massive Muse fan til 2004 when I saw them at Earls Court, blew me away!! Can still take or leave them on CD, but IMO no band (IVE SEEN) come close live. smile.png

Of course, if you think Muse are a load of bull then youre not going to like them live.

You're having a laugh mate!Seriously.Chris has been one of THE most inventive bassists of the past decade.Dom is a solid drummer who as time has gone on has been Bellamy's writing partner and responsible for their sound,Chris tends to just come in and lay his stuff down.

i think a lot of drummers would disagree with you about Dom. I know very good drummers who rate him very very highly. Chris is a very solid bassist. Matt is a very good guitarist and a virtuoso pianist, and one hell of a vocalist. To say Muse don't have talented musicians is plain wrong

I'm almost the whole way through, I can see why people are disappointed, but for me this is muse's in rainbows, a mad blending of all their previous sounds into one lp. Quite bizarre not hearing matt singing on a couple of tracks, but after the resistance, this is one massive leap in the right direction!

track one is fucking awful, sounds like an 80's bond theme.

track two is fucking awful. dubstep will be in vogue for a year at best. it will not age well - and neither will this track

the rest of the album I quite like - even on first listen.

I'm pretty "on the fence" with muse - Ive seen them twice. was blown away at reading, and fell asleep at the MEN. Their televised glasto set was one of the most impressive televised sets I have ever seen by any band (may have just been my frame of mind at the time - but I thought it was amazing)

For me,as someone mentioned, the 2004 Earls Court gigs were epic. Both Glasto sets were spectacular. The first and second lot of Wembley stadium gigs and also the last Reading set have all been incredible gigs. The other gigs I've attended have also been great but those have been amazing.

The spectacle of the people on wires at the first Wembley gigs I'll admit was a big selling point and I liked the stage set up for the second lot of Wembley gigs but I also include their actual performance.I can understand when people say if a band can't cut it being just them then they are glitter over substance but I feel Muse are impeccable live and the extras just add to the experience. If I was in a band of that size and charging fans £50 a ticket I'd want to lay on some extras and make it 'an event'.
