Black_Crow
Hmmm, Deftone, Bullet, Slipknot could be interesting. If Deftones would play that low.
Mouseboy11
Lol, Bullet would be more suited to V by the time the new albums out. The single is hilarious.
mrtourette
That temper temper one? It's pretty fucking bad. So bad it's getting played on daytime Radio One. I also would be surprised to see Deftones dropping to third, hopefully this means they'll be (in the tent) at Reading instead.
2rare2die
AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH! Why must Bullet insist on taking high slots at at least one festival a year that i attend, I really wish they'd take a few years off!

Andre91
Slipknot Bullet For My Valentine Limp Bizkit That'd do me nicely.
mrtourette
Could Deftones headline the second stage? (Although i'm not sure i'd miss Slipknot or Rammstein for them as i'd've seen them in February)

Black_Crow
would Deftones going from sub to second stage headliner still be a step-down?
2rare2die
Maybe, I don't really know the comparative size of second stage headliners compared to main stage placings at Download. I know 30STM headlined the second in 2010 and now they're subbing next year, but would Deftones going from sub to second stage headliner still be a step-down? biffoire
I love bullet but they've released too much shite so yeah, I reckon the set will be Fever/new album heavy. Balls. Was holding out for deftones since tickets are now 3x face value.
lharris92
on this "bombshell" i will now say bullet will not headline in the next 5 years. (probably forever)
GRichards23
Interesting, I'm surprised BFMV are playing Download next year, if they sub Slipknot, surely on the back of a new album that rules them out to Headline in the future? Like QOTSA, just won't make the step up to headline? Deftones will headline NME stage or play top three on the Black Sabbath day, if, as expected, they headline R&L... AcademicPistol
Regarding BFMV and Deftones one to sub one for second stage headliner. Preferably Bullet on 2nd.

SOAD
Dull dull dull booking... really bad live band (seen them three times) at that... released some good songs early in their career but you have to scrape the barrel nowadays to find a good song... Deftones would be a much better sub... brilliant live band (seen them 4 times) who have always been great... even what is regarded as their lackluster phase is better than the majority of what Bullet have put out. AR93
To be honest, I like a lot of Bullet's songs, old and new, but I really didn't want them to be playing Download in 2013. The slot they will get (most likely under Slipknot) should be Deftones. And as for the new song, it's just terrible.

luckysalt
Yup Bullet confirmed as Slipknot sub, fuckin sucks, boring uninspired booking, but a safe booking.

SOAD
I'm not sure how safe a booking it is either... they had a small crowd in Download 2011 for a sub headliner (granted not the biggest attendance at Download ever either)... and their arena tour was a joke
Andre91
I'm a big fan of Bullet, have been since their first album. BUT. When Fever came out, I felt that I had grown distant from them, grown out of them like you said. And I think this is the same for a lot of people my age (I'm 21) who were fans back in the 05-08 era, where we were 15/16 and their music was popular. That being said, they were one of the acts I was most looking forward to seeing at Leeds this year, and I thoroughly enjoyed their set. Will be great to see them at Download, but like I said, first two albums great, Fever meh, and the new song dire, so it will be interesting to see the crowd they pull.
