Bleed From Within have their new album out this year so hope they'll play. For smaller bands, just look who's on bringing out an album before Download and guess from there.

I thought this when I saw the announcement, well, them playing in some capacity, don't know about second stage headliner, but there is a clear week in between DL and their gigs so I can't see them playing unless they have a few other UK gigs going on during that week that they haven't announced yet

Well the days seem pretty mangled so ZZ Top could prob go under Bullet on the Slipknot day... would be weird as hell but the Sunday is pretty weird.

Scorpions V Slipknot... Even though that is a poles apart clash that would be one that would cause me grief!

Date wise I am now starting to think that maybe ZZ Top are more likely for a Glastonbury Sunday afternoon appearance rather than Download.

Sticking with the old school vain I'd also be quite happy to see Marillion call in after their set in Sonisphere France the week before

Playing Academies on the tour plus two nights at the Forum, way too big for 3rd stage.

Where else then? They're surely not big enough for second headliners, and I think they'd be wasted middle of the day.

Hence 3rd headline vs maiden!

The small tour is first shows in a fair few years too.
