tevaburger
there'd be a half-reasonable chance of me staying to watch the full set if they included some more off of Rescue. they've been known to slip in an "Outlaw Pete" cover 3 songs in...works well on saturdays at Glasto i hear. GlastoSimon
Any chance of No Expectations? Or do they not play that now days? Once on this tour, but that was due to a crowd request! Who knows though!
Amy Lawn
Given Operation YewTree I wouldn't hold your breath for Summer Romance. No Stray Cat Blues either, which has pissed me right off. Poking underage birds was just cheeky boyband fun back in the 70s.
magicmojo
Any chance of No Expectations? Or do they not play that now days? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73mejo3_-ow Thought it was a good version as well
Baby On A Stick
Unfortunately they've never played Let it Loose live, which is a shame as I have tears in my eyes every time I hear it (happy tears!!) Shine A Light would be a huge bonus, as would Street Fighting... (The opening to the Shine A Light Album version is awesome.) I still think that even at this stage in their career, Glasto is a real moment. Yer they did IOW but Glastonbury is special. OK, you always get the middle Keef bit that lots won't know, but hey. It's Keef. I still think its plausible to fill the middle section with a more well known (I won't say hits, err) songs then in North America. Said previously, they are playing 'festivals' over here rather then Stones' arena gigs. (Watching some of the You Tube stuff, even those at the front aren't looking interested/ dancing, even for Satisfaction. They want shot. Through the head!) MEGABOWL
No Stray Cat Blues either, which has pissed me right off. Poking underage birds was just cheeky boyband fun back in the 70s. I bet the BBC would be just dying to broadcast that one

CaledonianGonzo
*swoons* OK, it's a little weedy, but then the original's fairly langorous anyway. No chance of this one at the farm, I'd reckon. Still - really nice to hear Mick and Keith singing on the same track again.

I went into this thread having seen them at isle of wight and sure they were going to stink the place out at glastonbury. But thanks to gonzo with his setlists and links to recent performances, I think it's going to be bloody ace!

Ratpat
Would love to hear Can't you hear me knocking, but as they'll most likely have guests at Glasto it's unlikely, that they'll have an extended Mick Taylor-set.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXvpuQP_JKw
Gnomicide
I put Absolute radio on earlier and they were playing Fun doing a cover of YCAGWYW at IOW Festival. Not a bad effort at it but listening to the crowd singing along got me properly excited for The Stones. That's The Rolling Stones! At Glastonbury! In 13 days! Oh Lordy!!!! Doesn't even try. Is Ritchie there or is he in rehab again? yeah I have it on in the background... If I can't see them they sound just like a cover band... nah his voice is shot, and people slagged of Ian Brown, just played Bad Medicine and I think the backing vocalists did most of the work, he's screeching his way through the set though...
