russycarps
I don't know how they get away with it. There was a documentary on a little while back, dispatches maybe, that showed they were getting tickets direct from promoters and selling them as soon as they were released to the public. Seatwave, viagogo, letmein, all the same. Licensed touts its shocking. The trick is to like bands that dont have these mad ticket sales that sell out in minutes
jimmyk83
I see there are plenty of bargains to be had on ebay. A pair of 5th row seats for £3,995 anyone? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item337d14d5ec That's for the plebs. Why not splash out on some 2nd row seats for 5400 quid? Also i wouldn't be too confident the touts will get stung, standing tickets are already going at over 1k a pop.

glasto-worker
I was reluctant to buy but I will have two friends over from Iceland who will be going so I tried this morning but by the time I did the Captcha code correctly { not easy as I have had two strokes so they are not easy to do } the first date was gone and by the time I tried the second date that was gone as well. Well you never know - they may surprise us and do Glastonbury http://www.digitalsp...roposition.html its a shame that people can play the system and make a huge profit in the process { and not pay any tax on what is clearly a business } selling so called unwanted tickets . Glastofan43
Neil challenged me to have a go at beating him on rumours. I was ahead of him on Stevie Nicks with the drummer from Fleetwood Mac. I forecast he is now trying to avoid even mentioning my rumour that he'd boost the Stones to Strong Rumour by going straight for a TBC. Either way I win on that one. Why no Florence rumour yet? Mardy
##goes off to watch Flowered Up## I fucking love flowered up! One of my favourite bands ever. Shed seven and menswear suck donkeys cocks, mind. The best thing about flowered up? they'll never reform. They remain that golden beautiful memory. Age shall not wither them. CaledonianGonzo
Been a good week to be a Stones fan. Crossfire Hurricane was a rare treat and managed to acquire the Ladies And Gentlemen The Rolling Stones Box Set for £11.99 on play.com, which was a bit of a bargain. abdoujaparov
Stones in good new song shocker! Doom and Gloom is actually quite good...by far the best thing they've done for at least 30 years. Although I suppose after three decades of unmitigated ordure, they had to be able to produce at least one more half decent tune....
magicmojo
I don't get the Stones thing at all. Who is buying tickets at that price ? I saw them in '86 and they were pretty much washed up then. 25 years later and they're still flogging the same old horse, it's incredible really. They didn't play any gigs in '
