Wow, that's quite a bold move. Exciting times.

They'll certainly have to do a lot of re-jigging at Reading, I guess they'll make the arena bigger and re-organise the size and shapes of the various campsites. I still don't think that they'll be able to do anything major like having a second outdoor stage (sorry, third including the BBC Introducing) so it'll likely be more little tents but I'm not sure how wise that is given how empty the current ones tend to be when the main stage headliners are on.

The dance day has been far more popular than the Lock Up for awhile now so I'm not surprised that it's potentially being expanded, although the common argument against expansion has always been the lack of available acts due to it being the same weekend as Creamfields so it'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off.

I'd like to see an 'Urban' stage if I'm honest. American Hip-Hop, Grime and hopefully a bit of Garage thrown in there.

I also think the Dance stage will be made into a 3 day thing instead of the one it is now.

A heavier stage would also be good, if only for a day in the same kind of format the Dance stage is at the moment.

It would also be nice if the comedy tent was made a little bigger too.

This is great news, just hope it doesn't change the demographic too much. Another dance stage is obviously good as it's one of the most popular stages but if they start putting big hip/hop or dance acts in high positions like Labrinth or Example then I can see the crowd becoming a but too much like V, which is something I think Reading has done very well in trying to change in recent years.

That said a tent with smaller known dj's would be a good addition, would work better at Leeds though where I presume it could keep on playing till about 4 in the morning.

I'd personally love an acoustic/folk tent.

Interesting!!! I hope if they do go for more dance type stuff, they keep it similar to what they get in now, rather than mainstream dance acts and "pop".

The arena defiantly needs expanding at Reading, I thought, I didn't expect it to be that small at all! Not for the size of the festival. (Though in some ways a good thing, as it's fucking easy to go from stage to stage!).

What they need is better food options, something like Healthy T from T In the Park. (Just because their changing it up, so may as well get decent grub in!)
