Gene's ego must have taken a beating if this is true, I suspect they'll still charge their usual fee, so in essence Andy is paying for 4 headliners. I just hope the rest of the festival doesn't suffer as a result. (If of course it's not just bull shit)

Luckysalt. - didn't Kiss play on the Thursday at rock am because it was there 20th anniversary or something like that?

Maybe they would like the challenge of being up against a group the size of Slipknot.

Be like Rock AM Ring the other year when headliners were all booked but KISS wanted to play, so they had Thursday Main Stage open just for them and one shit support.

Obviously Download can't catter for that so said second stage or nothing and it seems they've accepted.
