LondonTom
Or as he comes on insists the crowd must take part in a prayer with him. Amen.
2rare2die
http://www.rapbasement.com/eminem/010913-eminem-becomes-born-again-christian-answer.html Eminem has apparently become a born again christian.
the wonderwhy
I hope he comes out attached to a crucifix with a black gospel choir following him.
Lillyfacee
IMO, Eminem doesn't deserve a headline slot in a festival like R/L (actually, does he actually deserve a slot at all?). Sabbath or Blur would be much better headliners.

mrtourette
I'm with the newb, he's a fat clown who is about as hip hop as Rihanna nowadays.
dart
He deserves a slot, I don't want the idiot there, but I don't think there's much debate about it
thesecretingredientiscrime
He's an incredibly weak headliner, but wherever he plays,he'd headline.
thetime
Hes not my cup of tea but you cant deny hes a headline act.
mrtourette
I don't think you can question that, it's whether he should be a headline act at R&L or whether he should be left to be a headline act at V/T/whatever event in the Middle East an Arab sheikh is paying him millions to mime at. the wonderwhy
Got to say I agree. Eminem is a joke compared to what he was 10 years ago.
kaosmark2
I'm just hoping they'll be decent hip hop to provide a counterbalance. J5, Nas, Public Enemy, De La Soul. I should stop dreaming and just be grateful they've got an awesome sub.

constantnothing
His new music isn't the best but surely it will reel in various fans. There will be the fans of his older material, the fans of his new, fans of both. It annoys me when I hear people saying the fact he's playing is to aim the festival at 'chavs' when in reality, I'm sure a lot of his crowd turnout will be those who want to watch him for the nostalgia of when hip hop used to be good.
