But they are both formed early 2000s in an age where rock music was still relatively mainstream. I appreciate their rise to prominence is pretty recent (and 75’s debut was what, 2013?) but it just feels different to the newer bands like Fontaines D.C.
But then the more I think, the more I’m starting to disagree with myself 🤣 Fender is about to do Glastonbury, has and is doing stadiums, Fontaines D.C. got Finsbury, so by all metrics you’d imagine they’d still be at the top in 20 years. Maybe I should just be quiet 🤐
As a teacher, they’re the one act that both myself and the boys I teach tend to enjoy.
