He probably did it (not that mind is made up) as it seems there is to be too much against him.

Yes it certainly would appear that way unless they are struggling to build a case against him/them. If he is innocent then he will have spent a year doing time with no way back in this career.

It's very difficult to comprehend why anyone would mess with small children. I'm not saying that if he has slept with a 15 year old that would have been okay but the allegations against him and a baby are just sickening.

That bit made me curious, what purpsose does a petition actually do in this situation? Are they hoping if enough people sign they will drop the charges or use it as evidence that he has good character?

Sorry don't want to cause a debate I'm sure there's a valid reason it just doesn't make sense to me when they're a part of the same case, seems to me it's like naming a murderer, but not their accomplice

They were named somewhere by mistake anyway.

I am more in favour of never releasing the names of people anyway because it can idolise them to some people or make them 'famous', these people are best locked away and never heard from again.

Yeah. Matthew Kelly wasn't found guilty but his career was destroyed. As soon as Watkins was arrested, Lostprophets and his career were both over.
