Just gonna point out here (I'm NOT defending him), that it's innocent until proven guilty and not the other way round. And if he is innocent, then what you're doing is called defamation and is illegal.

If he is proven guilty, throw the book at him but until then, be careful with what you say. If innocent, he has every right to sue you and/or efests.

The part of the case where a 16 year old girl contacted him, and asked him to take her virginity was also utterly chilling. Disturbingly, afterwards he urinated on her face. I suspect she didnt object at all. People were actually seeking him out, he didnt even have to find his victims.

The power "celebrities" have is shocking. And this case shows how utterly they can abuse it, if they are horrible scum like this.

I've not read the whole thread, but to return to a point made by thetime in the early part of the thread, I have to agree that the expectation of justice in any case where widespread media reporting and speculation exist any trial can only be a tainted affair.

I am sure that, for as long as we've had popular music and the kind of crowds of screaming pubescent girls that the media has hyped since the age of The Beatles (and before to a lesser extent) there have been rampant examples of taking advantage of young girls. This sick fuck, however, is something quite beyond that I think, not someone who shags young groupies but someone who actively seeks to abuse and takes pleasure from the most extreme acts.

I wonder how his former bandmates now feel about both their recorded material and their future as musicians as a result of the association.
