New Years Eve

If anyone wants to do a soppy message about how good or bad their year has been then here is the place to do it.

This year has been a fucking amazing year for me, even though I've had a lack of Glasto or any festival, I've still got this new found confidence and also my outlook on everything in my life has been 100% positive. Also this year has been my first year at Uni and I've had an absolutely brilliant time there and I've met some amazing new people. To top it all off, the band that I've been pottering about in for a year has finally got a great gig coming up, also I've been conquering my stage fright by performing solo at various different venues in Camden!

Looking at all that I can't deny that this year has been one of my best, even if there has been a lack of festivals in it. Lets hope 2013 goes even better :D

EDIT: Forgot to say HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Just re-read this post and it seems extremely self indulgant. But yeah, happy new year everyone, hope you all have a brilliant 2013.

This year had been a mixed bag and definately the worse financially I have ever experienced. Had health problems and work and housing stuff, but all in all managed through.

I was getting really upset about having the kids around over Christmas and not having any money to spoil them. However the Christmas Dinner I put on soon made up for that. That was followed by a game of Trivial Pursuit that started at 9pm and was still going strong at 3am.

Just spending an evening in with my youngest lad, but I prefer my own company anyway.

Hope you all have a cracking night and all the best for the New Year :-)

Happy New Year. I've been a bit shy on here this year but I've done a few things. Travelled about Europe for a while and now living in London in the fantastic and marvellous Seven Sisters. It kind of kicked me in the balls a bit moving here as I had no job for ages and in a bit of debt but I have a job now, paying it off slightly bit by bit, and realy enjoy living in a new place. Nothing seems real in a weird way, I don't worry about anything really and I have the mind set of thinking 'if it doesn't work fuck it, I'll head somewhere else'. I don't want to live in London for more than a while, and I don't want to go back to Glasgow. I've deicided not to bother going for a career as such and just try my hand at whatever I fall in to and see different places.
