Would anyone else rather see them headlining the Nme tent, I've seen them twice on the main stage. They were enjoyable both times, but i just think seeing them headline the tent would be awesome, Plus it would mean a longer set and would be a good alternative to an 'indie' headliner like mumford and sons. Can't wait to see some of the new tracks live, Koi No Yokan is an amazing album. So would you prefer them headlining the tent, or playing a higher slot on the main stage, im guessing they'll play 3rd

Mainstage. I like Deftones, but not enough to want them as a headliner for a day. 3rd/4th down on a day with SOAD would be ace.

I much prefer to watch bands int he tent than lower down the main stage in day light.Deftones in NME would be amazing.

Koi no Yokan is my album of the year by some distance.Awesome album.

They're only playing one night at Brixton; despite their tickets being in high demand (going for about £100 now) that still isn't enough for a sub slot; maybe 3rd though.

I think Deftones awe somewhere between 3rd and 5th mainstage. Any band that could sub is too big to even be considered headlining the NME and Deftones definitely aren't that large.

Their crowd weren't that great in 2011, so don't see how they're going up a place really. Would be a dull NME headliner too, so glad they're not on there.

They're perfectly able to tackle 3rd, sub... they could, but they wouldn't be well received.

It's subjective obviously, but they'd be a dull headliner because they played 2009, 2011 and now 2013, hardly an exciting booking or anything. The NME headliners should at least be something different (like ATD-I, 2manyDJS, Jane's for example). Alt J, Deftones and Foals, or whoever, would not be anything particularly special, especially as the main rumoured headliners are not to crow about, imo of course.

Sadly I don't think they'd pull a massive crowd if they were to headline the NME, At The Drive-In played to an almost empty tent, even with the reunion buzz & I'm sure Jane's Addiction probably would have been similar had they bothered to show up & they're bands who you'd consider 'rare' on the festival circuit, where as Deftones have kinda overkilled R&L a bit.

TBH I think 3rd main stage is pushing it let alone sub. I'd rather see them headline the tent, everytime I've seen them on main I wasn't that impressed with them.

Well they influenced Muse who are one of the biggest rock bands on the planet. So they must be a band of a good size. I think third us best for them. Sub may just be pushing it
