Andy_47
I did hear gravy being brought up a few times last year. I thought you were all kidding. Leeds loves gravy.
Gucci Piggy
I tried to find that post from Tourette once to show my brother. The gravy bit got me haha. It is true. And Yellow_Fellow's post didn't make sense, but it is still funny.
mrtourette
I don't think that GNR being a present to Leeds to sell tickets is exactly true, I was under the impression that due to other commitments GNR would only play one date and chose Leeds due to the proximity to an airport so that they could get in and out quickly. It was probably convenient that they chose Leeds but I doubt FR would specifically book a different/extra headliner to sell more tickets at one site. And Leeds did sell out for a number of years, but has obviously has dipped a lot sharper than Reading in the last two or three years (probably for the reasons listed above ). jump
So if System were to play wouldn't it have to be on the Friday at Reading and the Sat at Leeds due to the French date with Deftones also likely for that day due to them touring together? mrtourette
Yeah it would have to be Friday and Saturday (in whatever order), not sure about the Deftones thing. They'll probably do Rock En Seine but I don't think them touring together means they'll play the same day at festivals (although if SOAD were headlining it would make sense). dentalplan
Have there been any dates announced shortly before the weekend yet? It's just they have to headline R&L or Rock im Pott now, too big to sub really, but the case for Mumfords is stronger than ever. If they played in central/eastern Europe on Thursday or something that'd be much more of a hint.
