I think that this week or maybe next, belgian artists will be announced and also we'll have the stage splits. Last year Snoop Dog and Keane were announced really late and in 2011, Kasabian was announced in late july... soooo keep your faith... everything is posible in Pukkelpop!!!

Don't think you've got much chance of getting backstage let alone meeting any bands there, although we did manage it one year (but that's another story!). There's a reasonable possibility you may see some of the less-known ones wandering around the arena though so keep your eyes peeled. We met Seasick Steve in the Marquee the first year we went and I watched the Naked and Famous with a few members of Wolfgang in 2011 so you may bump into someone. If you're really into 'celeb' spotting then your best bet is to stay in one of the hotels in Hasselt, preferably the Radisson. This is where all the headliners stop, as they're the only people who can afford the rooms. We always see quite a few bands in the Holiday Inn Express each year but it's usually the smaller ones who are on a budget.

Picked up a couple of new albums this week from bands that have now been added to my 'must see' list. Can't wait to check out Beware of Darkness live and been really getting into Don Broco too, even though I've only listened to both albums a couple of times. Got absolutely no idea how I'm going to fit everything in over the three days though and I'm certain they'll be some tough decisions to make once the timetable comes out.

Clutching at straws but on the Ppop poster and website each day has two headliners in the same sized font apart from Saturday, happy with the line up as is but if they were to add a reformed Led Zeppelin id be content (i know thats not going to happen).

All sorted now and cant wait to get there, been checking out Ppop radio and found loads of good new bands that I will inevitably miss as I enjoy the delights of Hasselt.

Does anybody know of any local hotels to stay at during the festival, or even in neighbouring towns that it would be relatively easy to get back to at night?

I love camping but the flight costs shoot up with extra baggage etc (I know hotel will add also, but at least I'd feel the benefit and not the airline company).

Thanks.
